Day 1:  Arava Border - Petra

Our representative will meet you on the Jordanian side of Arava Border and assist with your visa to Jordan (for non-restricted nationalities).  After, meet our driver and continue to Petra.  Upon arrival, we will arrange your entrance fees and hire for you a private English speaking site guide to explore the lower part of the city for 2.5 to 3 hours. With the guide, enter the site by navigating the narrow kilometer long Siq, or canyon Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, all the way down to the Nymphium and Qaser El- Bent.  Have lunch inside Petra at Al Basin Restaurant, then some free time on your own to explore further.  Dinner and overnight in Petra

 

Day 2:  Petra - Dana - Kerak - Dead Sea

Breakfast at the hotel, then we will continue the drive to explore one of Jordan’s loveliest hideaways and its most impressive ecotourism project - the 15th century stone village of Dana.  Perched high on a cliff, this charming community offers spectacular views of Wadi Araba.  Stroll through the terraced gardens and after admire the fine craftsmanship of the local art scene.  Dana is known for its handcrafted silver jewelry, dried fruit, olive oil soap, and leather tanning. We then continue to Kerak to visit its famous Crusader castle  that was built in 1132 and situated on top of a high mountain overlooking the city. You can wander through underground corridors with huge kitchens, stables and sleeping quarters with several floors. The top of the castle offers magnificent views in all directions. End the day at the Dead Sea. Experience the strange sensation of floating effortlessly, while the mineral rich water and black mud treatment soothes both body and soul.  After, quench your thirst with a tropical refreshment along the edge of the shore while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.  

 

Day 3:  Dead Sea - Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Aqaba 

Breakfast at the hotel, then we continue to Mt. Nebo and retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year’s before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special.  On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen.  A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church where Moses is believed to have died.  After a short drive through the countryside, arrive in Madaba, to view the oldest preserved ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century BC located within the Church of St. George.  Madaba, famous for its handcrafted mosaics, is also known for its colorful, hand-woven carpets.  End the day at the warm and balmy resort city of Aqaba. Free time to explore the many coffee shops, eateries, and souks as well as the beachside 16th century castle. Dinner and overnight in Aqaba. 

Day 4:  Aqaba - Arava border 

Breakfast at the hotel, free time, then we will transfer you to Arava Border for your departure to Israel.
