Through the soothing rhythm of the camels, you wander through a varied landscape of desert mountains, dry river beds, and sand dunes and along the way you will pass many historical sites.  Each of the trekking days, wake up with the sun, enjoy a nutritious breakfast before continuing the trek.  The hottest part of the day is time to relax and adbsorb the ambiance of the desert.  Toward the end of the day, a freshly prepared dinner is served around the fire and evenings are enjoyed with Bedouin stories, music and dance. 

Day 1:  Amman Airport - Madaba
Our representative will meet you upon arrival at Amman Airport and assist with your visa to Jordan.  After, meet our driver and continue to Madaba for dinner and overnight. 

Day 2:  Madaba -  Mt. Nebo - Kerak - Dana 

After breakfast at the hotel, we start the day in Madaba by visiting the Church of St. George and the mosaic map of the holy land dating back to the 6th century BC.  We then drive around 10 minutes to visit Mt. Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special.  On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen.  A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church on the site where Moses is believed to have died.  We will then continue to Kerak to visit one of Jordan’s greatest highlights – the imposing Crusader castle. Built in 1142, the castle provides an interesting insight into the struggles for the Holy Land between the Crusaders and the Muslims.  After, we end the day in Dana for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:  Dana -  Feynan
Trekking: 7 - 8 hours; 18KM
Breakfast at the hotel, then start the day trekking from Dana Nature Reserve, one of Jordan's loveliest conservation and wilderness areas, to Feynan .  This spectacular downhill trek winds through the sandstone gorge of Wadi Dana.  Along the way, you will likely encounter the local Bedouin herding their sheep and goats. During the trek, we will also stop for lunch in a nice shaded area.  Upon arriving Feynan, you will be greeted by refershing Bedouin tea.  Dinner and overnight at Feynan Eco Lodge - one of the top 25 eco lodges in the world!

Day 4:  Feynan - Wadi Araba - Namaleh 

After breakfast at the lodge, this day is filled with fun adventure as we continue the trek as the Bedouin have for centuries via Wadi Araba to Namaleh - by camel!  Dinner and overnight camping in mobile camp.

Day 5:  Namaleh - Little Petra - Petra
After breakfast at the camp, we have another full day camel trekking.  Upon reaching Little Petra, we then hike by foot to enter Petra via the secret back way ending at the Monastery!  We will then continue to explore the site before ending our day in Petra with dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.

Day 6:  Petra - Wadi Rum  

With an early rise and after breakfast at the hotel, we have a full day tour in Petra to explore the ancient city of the Nabataean. We will see the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater. Next, we climb up to see the High Place of Sacrifice overlooking the city from the top then continue walking to Wadi Sabrah down to Al Basin Restaurant for lunch.  After lunch, we walk back through the Siq where our driver will meet us to proceed to Wadi Rum for dinner and overnight camping.

Day 7:  Wadi Rum  

After breakfast at the camp, we will start a full day trekking on camels in Wadi Rum starting from Dissiah deep inside the protected area of Wadi Rum, all the way to Khashem Hasanah and then to the beginning of Siq AL- Barrah to explore the area. Dinner and overnight camping in Wadi Rum.

Day 8:  Wadi Rum - Aqaba
Today after breakfast at the camp, we will have a full day trekking on camels in Wadi Rum....back from Siq Al- Barrah via Umm Al- Tawaqi towards Al- Dissiah.  We then continue by vehicle to Aqaba for free time at leisure.  Dinner and overnight in Aqaba at 3* hotel.
 

Day 9:  Aqaba - Dead Sea
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the Dead Sea for a day of pampering and relaxation.  No better way to end the program!  Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea in 3*+ hotel.
 

Day 10:  Dead Sea - Amman Airport 
After breakfast at the hotel, and according to your flight details, we will transfer you to Amman Airport for farewell and departure.
