Day 1:  Amman Airport - Amman

Our representative will meet you upon arrival and assist with your visa to Jordan.  After, meet our driver and continue to Amman for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel. 

 
Day 2:  Amman - Amman City Tour - Jerash - Amman
Breakfast at the hotel, then start the morning with a city tour of Jordan's capital, mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon. The city is built on a series of jabals (or hills) and offers spectacular vistas at every turn.  Towering above the city on Jabal Qala'a is the Citadel.  This site has seen the rise and fall of most of the civilizations that have inhabited Amman for the past 7,000 years.  It is most noteworthy for the Temple of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace, and the remains of a small Byzantine Church. At the foot of the hill lies the 6,000 seat Roman Theatre, built in 161 CE, and which to much amazement is still used for cultural events today.  After a short drive through the countryside, discover the remarkable Roman ruins of Jerash, so well preserved that you can almost hear the banter of the merchants and the creaking of chariot wheels along the cobblestoned streets. This ancient wonder offers breathtaking arches,temples and baths in an amazing state of preservation and completeness.  Return to Amman for dinner and overnight in 3* hotel.

 

Day 3:  Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Dead Sea
Breakfast at the hotel, then start the day with a visit to Madaba.  Discover the oldest preserved ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century BC located within the Church of St. George. Continue to Mt. Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special.  On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen.  A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church where Moses is believed to have died.  Continue to the world's largest natural spa and one of the most unique spots in the world - the Dead Sea. The water and mud of the Dead Sea have been recognized for their healing properties since Biblical times.  End the day with a magical experience by floating in the sea admiring the dazzling crimson and orange sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea in 3*+ hotel.
 
Day 4:  Dead Sea - Dana - Petra
Breakfast at the hotel then after a short drive, spend the day trekking through Dana Nature Reserve and explore the 15th century stone village of Dana.  Perched high on a cliff, this charming community offers spectacular views of Wadi Araba. This hidden gem is an eco-tourist’s dream and also a destination for adventurers, history buffs, archaeologists, hikers, and nature lovers. Waves of rolling mountains drop dramatically from a mile high to below sea level creating stunning vistas of rock and desert.  We then continue to Petra for dinner and overnight in 3* hotel.
 
Day 5:  Petra - Little Petra

Breakfast at the hotel then begin the day exploring the Rose Red city of Petra.  This city of the Nabataean’s was built over 2,000 years ago and lays hidden in a huge rocky mountain accessed via a high and narrow gorge. With monumental facades and spectacular buildings sculpted out of solid rock, this breathtaking site has been described by UNESCO as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage," and also one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrange your entrance fees and hire for you a private English speaking site guide to explore the main attractions of the lower part of the city for 2.5 to 3 hours. You and the guide will start from the main gate all the way through the Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, all the way down to the Nympheom and Qaser El- Bent. At the end of the day, continue to Little Petra for dinner and camping.
 
Day 6: Little Petra - Petra

Breakfast at the camp, then on this morning, a very special activity is arranged - an Arabian thoroughbred horse ride through the stunning mountains of the ‘suburbs” of Petra.  With an English-speaking guide, this adventure journeys through the area where there is a magical view over Wadi Araba, Petra, and Little Petra. Visit the Neolithic village of Beidah (the Suburb of the ancient world, where human used to live 500 BC), then towards Bedbdeh water spring and meet with the local Bedouin and have tea with them. Both experienced and less experienced riders can make the tour.  After this amazing experience, return to Petra for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.

 

Day 7:  Petra - Elgi - Wadi Rum

Breakfast at the hotel, then continue the adventure on horseback riding from Petra towards Elgi village.  Explore the backcountry with its old houses, amazing mountain landscape and pristine springs.  In the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum via King’s Way – one of Jordan’s most breathtaking and scenic routes.  We will have a traditional Bedouin lunch at one of the camps. Then settle into a Bedouin camp where one of the most amazing sunsets in the world can be seen.  Enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner around the campfire and overnight camping.
 

Day 8:  Wadi Rum - Aqaba

Breakfast at the camp, then get ready for one of the best rides of your life during a 3 hour 4x4 safari.  Imposing, towering rocks and crags, “Gods” skyscrapers, rise up from Rum’s desert floor and the silence seems to thunder through the canyons. Famous for its rugged mountains and colored sand dunes, this is without doubt a place where heaven and earth come closer together. We will then have lunch at the camp.  Later in the day, experience Wadi Rum as the Bedouin have for centuries - by camel. During the 4-hour trek, get an up close and personal view of the mesmerizing desert scenery that seems suspended in time.  End the day in the charming resort city of Aqaba where traditional and modern culture mix.  The evening is free to explore the many souvenir shops, spice markets, and coffee houses and to discover the different cuisines of the region. Dinner and overnight in Aqaba at 3* hotel.
 
Day 9:  Aqaba - Amman Airport
Breakfast at the hotel, then the morning is free morning in Aqaba. According to your flight, details, we will start the 4 hour drive to Amman Airport.
