Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman
Meet and Greet Service Upon arrival at Amman's Queen Alia airport, Visa Obtained then you will be met and transferred to Amman (if time permits we tour the old ruins of the city)  rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Amman.

 

Day 2: Amman - Umm Qais – Jerash – Amman

Breakfast at the hotel, then continue to Umm Qais, the old Decapolis city of Gadara, with its spectacular panoramic views overlooking the Sea of Galilee.  The basalt basilica is believed to be the site of Jesus’ miracle of the Gadarene swine. We visit Jabbok, the place where Jacob wrestled with God who was in the form of an angel (Genesis 32:24-30).  On to Jerash, one of the best preserved and most complete provincial Roman cities in the world.  With your 2 hour guided tour, wander through the ancient Greek temples, Byzantine Churches, colonnaded streets and forum.  See the hippodrome and public baths. Dinner and overnight in Amman.

 

Day 3: Amman – Madaba - Mt Nebo – Bethany Beyond the Jordan – Dead Sea

Begin the day with Madaba to see the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land in existence on the floor of the 6th century St George Church.  A short drive brings us to Mt. Nebo, also known as Pisgah, the most revered holy site in Jordan.  Here God showed Moses the Promised Land before he died. Visit Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, where Elijah and Elisha crossed the Jordan, as well as the area where the children of Israel led by Joshua entered the Promised Land.  Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, some 420 meters below sea level. Float on the surface of the buoyant waters, seven times saltier than regular seawater.  Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

 

Day 4: Dead Sea – Wadi Al Mujib – Lot’s Wife Pillar – Lot's Cave – High Mountains – Dana Wild Natural Reserve – Shobak Castle – Petra.
Today we drive south along the Dead Sea Highway and taking a brief stop at the bottom of Wadi Al-Mujib (a favorite location for hikers and canyoners), before continuing on to Lot’s Wife Pillar.  From a distance, view a hillside cave near to the small town of Zoar where Lot and his daughters lived after fleeing the sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  We will continue to Dana Nature Reserve where we will stop for a breathtaking view of the area surroundings then continue to Shobak Castle, one of the Crusader Castles.  Dinner and overnight in Petra.

 

Day 5: Petra 
Breakfast at the hotel, then start the Petra tour with your private English speaking guide. Walk through the Siq, passing the remains of Nabataean shrines, water channels, wall carvings and some of the original paving stones.  As you exit the Siq, gaze in amazement at the magnificent Treasury carved out of the rock face; explore the Street of Facades, Theatre, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, Byzantine Church, Winged Lion’s Temple, Qasr al-Bint, and the Petra Museum where your guide will leave you.  Climb to the Monastery and/or High Place of Sacrifice on your own. Dinner and overnight in Petra.                

 

Day 6: Peta Al Madras - Wadi Rum

Breakfast at the hotel, this morning we have the opportunity to join our guide for a return to Petra along the “secret way” of al-Madras, with visits to the High Place of Sacrifice and Wadi Farasa. At lunchtime, we stop in Wadi Musa souk to pick up delicious shawarma sandwiches or fruit and veggie snacks from the local produce souk before making the scenic drive to Wadi Rum. We make a late afternoon 3 hour 4x4 safari of this moonscape desert terrain, arriving at our remote campsite deep in the heart of the Wadi Rum. We enjoy a magical evening under the brilliant stars of the desert night sky, including a scrumptious traditional Jordanian dinner.  Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum. 

 

Day 7: Wadi Rum – Aqaba

Breakfast at the hotel, then enjoy the charming sunrise at Wadi Rum camel ride for 2 hrs. Transfer to Aqaba for leisure at B12 Club.  After, transfer to Arava Border.
