Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman City Tour - Madaba – Mt. Nebo - Petra

Meet & Greet Service, Welcome to Jordan and the start of an amazing adventure. Exploring the city of Amman. We will visit the Citadel (Jabal Al Qal'a), the Roman Theatre and explore the museums within the Theatre area.  We will then stop for lunch at one of the traditional restaurants in Amman followed by enjoying a traditional Jordanian sweet – Konafah, Heading to Madaba where we see the Church of St George, the Madaba Archaeological Park, Apostles Church, and Madaba Museum.  Then continue to Mt. Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses.  This amazing panorama includes the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and the spires and domes of the Mt. of Olives and Bethlehem on the Judean hills just across the wide valley. End the day in  Petra with dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Petra

Begin the day with your private guide exploring for 2.5 to 3 hours, the ancient Nabatean Rose City of Petra - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Access the hidden archaeological treasures of the Rose City on a walk through a narrow, deep siq, where the rocks finally give way to reveal the famous facade of Al-Khazneh (the Treasury). Once inside the ancient city, discover tombs, temples, an impressive amphitheater, and a Roman colonnaded street. If you're feeling energetic ascend the hundreds of rock-cut steps to Ad-Deir. Better known as the Monastery, Ad-Deir has a similar facade to that of the Treasury but is far bigger and the views from the nearby cliff-tops are incredible! Dinner and overnight in Petra.

Day 3: Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum

This morning take a short drive to visit Little Petra and the Baidha Neolithic village, hidden away in the center of a mountain, with a classical temple standing guard outside the mini-siq. Although much smaller than Petra, Baidha is crammed to the brim with tombs, temples, and houses.  Continue to Wadi Rum. We make a late afternoon jeep tour of this moonscape desert terrain, arriving at our remote campsite deep in the heart of the Wadi Rum. We enjoy a magical evening under the brilliant stars of the desert night sky, including a scrumptious traditional Jordanian dinner. Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum. 

Day 4:  Wadi Rum – Dead Sea
Breakfast at the camp; explore the desert landscape as the Bedouins – by camel! During your one hour safari get a lifetime experience of the desert’s life. Transfer to the Dead Sea. The remains of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

Day 5:  Dead Sea – Wadi Mujib Canyoning  - Dead Sea 

Breakfast at the hotel then we’ll embark on a moderate –paced two-hour trek along the Siq Trail. Measuring 500 meters in depth and spanning 4 kilometers across, the impressive Wadi Mujib is one of Jordan’s most remarkable natural features. This dramatic canyon features sheer rocky walls and sparkling waterways that range from puddle height to depths that are perfect for swimming (chest height or deeper) depending on the rainfall. When the water level is high you should be prepared for having to climb up ladders, clamber across boulders and be happy to wade through water. The canyon is just one feature of the Mujib Biosphere Reserve, the lowest nature reserve in the world, home to a surprising diversity of wildlife and plant species. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

Day 6: Dead Sea - Amman Airport / King Hussein Bridge

Breakfast at the hotel, then take a final dip in the Dead Sea this morning then transfer to Amman Airport or King Hussein Bridge.
