Day 1: Arava Border / Aqaba / Wadi Rum / Little Petra / Petra
Our representative will meet you on the Jordanian side of Arava Border at 8am and assist with your visa to Jordan (for non-restricted nationalities). After continue to Aqaba to explore the charming community with its many coffee shops, and unique shopping areas. Next, we will continue to Wadi Rum to enjoy a traditional lunch at one of the camps. After, with experience the solitude and magic of the desert landscape on one of the best rides of your life – a 3-hour 4x4 safari and view the towering castle-like mountains and beautifully colored cliffs that can be seen in every direction. We will also have a traditional Bedouin lunch at one of the camps. We will then continue to Little Petra, which is believed to be a resting place for the ancient caravans traveling along the spice route. Enter the site through a narrow gorge called Siq al-Baird to view the tombs, temples, and dining halls. At the end of the day, continue to Petra for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Petra / Arava Border
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will meet you to begin the day in the Rose Red city of Petra. Petra is a UNESCO world heritage site and was recently voted one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. It is the legacy of the Nabataean's, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago. The driver will arrange your entrance fees and hire for you a private English speaking site guide then start exploring the main attractions of the lower part of the city for 2.5 to 3 hours. You and the guide will start from the main gate all the way through the Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, all the way down to the Nymphium and Qaser El- Bint. Have lunch inside Petra at Al Basin Restaurant (run by Crowne Plaza), then some free time on your own to explore further. After, return to the main gate to meet our driver to continue to Arava Border for departure.
